I read the book again .. for the nth time. And as each time, I was overwhelmed with what it could still teach me! How can someone write a book that is so unbearably powerful, so light and heavy, at the same time? Salutations to Bach!!
My discussion on the book with my friend revealed something to me. Reading a book requires a silence—not just of place, but of mind. To be able to read like the author intended it: with a fresh, clear mind. To read without making an effort to make sense, without drawing analogies to society, politics, or real life, without drawing parallels to your own life, is indeed a very difficult art.
